The itinerary covers Tarangire National Park, the iconic Serengeti National Park, and the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. Despite its brevity, this safari offers excellent wildlife viewing opportunities, including the chance to see the Big Five.

Activities

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Morning: Depart from Arusha after breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees.
Afternoon: Enjoy a game drive with a picnic lunch. Keep an eye out for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and various bird species along the Tarangire River.
Evening: After an exciting day, head to your campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.
Accommodation: Budget campsite in or near Tarangire National Park.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

Morning: After breakfast, drive towards the Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Optionally, visit the Olduvai Gorge, a key archaeological site.
Afternoon: Arrive in the Serengeti and begin your game drive en route to your campsite. Look out for predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as large herds of herbivores.
Evening: Settle into your campsite in the central Serengeti for dinner and an overnight stay.
Accommodation: Budget campsite in Central Serengeti.

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Morning: Start your day with an early morning game drive in Serengeti, taking in the stunning scenery and spotting wildlife at dawn.
Afternoon: After lunch, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at the Ngorongoro Crater rim in the late afternoon for breathtaking views before heading to your campsite.
Evening: Dinner and overnight stay at the campsite on the crater rim.
Accommodation: Budget campsite on the Ngorongoro Crater rim.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Tour & Return to Arusha

Morning: After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater is home to a dense concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five—lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards, and buffaloes.
Afternoon: Enjoy a picnic lunch by a hippo pool before ascending back to the crater rim and driving back to Arusha.
Evening: Upon arrival in Arusha, your safari concludes. Depending on your flight schedule, you may transfer to the airport for departure or stay overnight in Arusha.
