the Magic of
a Balloon Safari

Imagine floating silently over the vast plains of the Serengeti, witnessing the breathtaking beauty of the African wilderness from a unique vantage point.

What to Expect on a Balloon Safari

Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your lodge or camp. You’ll arrive at the launch site before sunrise, where you’ll be greeted with coffee or tea as the balloon crew prepares the balloon.

As the sun starts to rise, you’ll climb into the balloon basket, and the pilot will give a safety briefing. Then, you’ll gently lift off, soaring into the sky as the landscape below comes to life in the morning light.

The flight typically lasts for about an hour, during which you’ll glide over the plains, rivers, and woodlands. The pilot will vary the altitude, sometimes flying low to offer a close-up view of the wildlife and sometimes rising higher for panoramic views.
